On Saturday, December 7, the Assumption Parish of Ipswich continued its cherished annual tradition by visiting the Philoxenia House to decorate its exterior for Christmas. Members of the GOYA and their families, accompanied by Fr. Christopher Kolentsas, brought festive cheer to the home that serves as a haven for those in need.
Metropolitan Methodios greeted the parishioners as they adorned the house with lights, wreaths, and other holiday decorations. Their efforts not only brightened the building but also symbolized the community's commitment to love and hospitality during the holiday season.
The Philoxenia House continues to provide temporary housing and support for families and individuals facing medical or personal challenges. The Assumption Parish's visit is a testament to the enduring spirit of giving and community care.
