Metropolitan Methodios Visits St. Nicholas, Lexington for Feast Day

On December 6, 2024, Metropolitan Methodios visited St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church in Lexington, MA, to celebrate the Divine Liturgy in honor of the Feast Day of St. Nicholas, the church’s patron saint.

The Divine Liturgy was a heartfelt celebration of St. Nicholas, a beloved figure in Orthodox tradition known for his generosity, humility, and dedication to faith. His Eminence delivered an inspiring sermon, highlighting the virtues of St. Nicholas and encouraging the faithful to emulate his love and service to others.

Following the service, Fr. George Parsenios presented His Eminence with a generous contribution from the parish to support the new indoor Gymnasium and Field House at the St. Methodios Faith and Heritage Center in Contoocook, NH. Metropolitan Methodios expressed his heartfelt gratitude to Fr. George and the parishioners of St. Nicholas for their generosity and dedication. The Feast Day celebration concluded with a festive fellowship hour, where parishioners gathered to share in the joy of the day and to connect with their Metropolitan.
