On May 11, nearly 100 faithful from across the New England gathered at Sts Constantine and Helen Greek Orthodox Church in Webster, MA for the Metropolis of Boston Oratorical Festival. Our 18 participants spoke on a wide range of topics, including Orthodox hymnography, our role in taking care of God's creation, and how the saints can inspire us to become holy. Advancing to the National Oratorical Festival next month in the Junior Division is Sophia Nichols of Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church in Cranston, RI, and for the Senior Division Eleni Lafond of St. Gregory the Theologian Greek Orthodox Church in Mansfield, MA.
