Kosmos Participants from Greece Travel to Maine

On Thursday, August 3rd, the participants of the KOSMOS project from Thessaloniki traveled up to Maine to explore Portland, Freeport, and Saco. The day began at the Holy Trinity church in Portland, where they were welcomed by Fr. Konstantine Sarantides, followed by a brief time exploring Portland. While in Maine, they were given the opportunity to tour around Freeport, which included shopping at the LL Bean store. After exploring Freeport, the participants traveled to Saco for a church tour, Paraklesis service, and a lobster dinner at the St. Demetrios Parish in Saco Maine. Finally, they concluded their trip to Maine with a fireworks display on Old Orchard Beach.
