MBC Winter Camp 2022
Wednesday, December 31, 1969Over President's Day weekend 2022, over 100 young people gathered at the Metropolis of Boston Camp for its Winter Camp session. These young people from throughout New England came together for worship, fellowship, discussion, and fun.Over the course of the weekend, campers focused on the parable of the Prodigal Son taken from Sunday's Gospel reading. Discussions centered around preparing for Great Lent and Pascha. Among the variety of activities offered, campers participated in broomball, ice fishing, winter olympics, and a campfire. Two field trips were offered this year: one group visited Pats Peak for skiing and snowboarding, while the other visited a maple syrup factory, a cow farm, and ice skating.
