Christ is risen! With great joy, His Eminence Metropolitan Methodios presided over Holy Week services at many parishes across the Metropolis of Boston. In his remarks at each parish, His Eminence encouraged the faithful to remember one prayer in particular, the prayer of the thief crucified next to Christ who cried out, "Lord, remember me when you come into your Kingdom," suggesting that there is no more powerful prayer than this one.

The services of Holy Week culminated in the celebration of the Paschal Vigil followed by Divine Liturgy on Holy Saturday evening at the Annunciation Cathedral in Boston. His Eminence Cardinal Sean O'Malley of the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Boston and the Honorable Mr. Statos Efthymiou, Consul General of Greece in Boston were both in attendance to celebrate with the faithful. On Easter Sunday, His Eminence presided over the Agape Vespers where Bishop Robert McManus of the Catholic Diocese of Worcester was in attendance.
