The Greek Independence Day Parade is a national celebration in the United States of America. Greek Americans across US cities organize Greek parades to celebrate the independence of Greece from the Ottoman Empire in 1821. In Boston, proud Greek-Americans from all over New England lined Boylston Street and joined in on the fun to celebrate their heritage which featured floats, marching bands and colorful ethnic costumes.
