On Thursday, November 29th, His Eminence Metropolitan Methodios welcomed people to the Metropolis of Boston for a vespers service commemorating the Feast of St. Andrew, patron saint of the Metropolis.

His Eminence was joined by Cardinal Sean O'Malley, as well as many faithful Christians who traveled with them for the September 2007 pilgrimage to Constantinople, Rome, and St. Petersburg. Also in attendance were many other priests from throughout the Metropolis of Boston, as well as some seminarians, studying at Hellenic College and Holy Cross Greek Orthodox School of Theology.

Directly following the vespers service, His Eminence Metropolitan Methodios gave the new oath of office to the entire Metropolis of Boston Philoptochos. After the service and ceremony, the ladies of the Philoptochos sponsored a reception, which was enjoyed by all who were in attendance.

The Vespers service was held at the Chapel of St. Andrew, at the Metropolis of Boston in Brookline, M.A.
