Roslindale GOYA Brings Holiday Cheer to the Metropolis of Boston Center
The GOYA from St. Nectarios in Roslindale visited the Metropolis of Boston Center on Thursday, December 12th. The highlight of their visit was the decoration of Metropolitan Methodios’ office. The GOYA members brought a real Christmas tree, which they adorned with ornaments, lights, and heartfelt Christmas spirit. During their time at the center, the youth also enjoyed a tour, which offered them a glimpse into the daily operations and history of the Metropolis of Boston. Στη Βοστώνη ιδρύθηκε και λειτουργεί από το 1986 ένας Οίκος αγάπης, στοργής, φροντίδας και αλληλεγγύης, ο γνωστός Οίκος Φιλοξενίας της Μητρόπολης Βοστώνης. Βρίσκεται εντός της οικοπεδικής έκτασης της Θεολογικής και συγκεκριμένα στο κάτω μέρος επί της οδού Prince Street βλέποντας προς τη λίμνη Jamaica Pond. On the afternoon of November 23, 2024, the Metropolis of Boston Philoptochos Board hosted a luncheon to launch their new cookbook, Around the Metropolis Table, dedicated to Metropolitan Methodios on the occasion of the 40th anniversary of his enthronement. The luncheon was attended by over 190 faithful from throughout New England. A lovely afternoon was organized at the Ithaki Restaurant in Peabody, MA.
